Vatula-Tantra

Das Vatula('erleuchtet') ist ein Tantra des Vira-Shivaismus.

Es überlebte in 2 Manuskript-Ausgaben, von denen in einer die sat-sthala-Lehre in Form eines Anhangs erwähnt wird.

Das Śiva-Tattva ist ein dreifaches:

  1. niṣkala,
  2. sakala and
  3. niṣkala-sakala.

Śiva kann auf 10 Arten betrachtet werden:

  1. tattva-bheda,
  2. varṇa-bheda,
  3. cakra-bheda,
  4. varga-bheda,
  5. mantra-bheda,
  6. praṇava,
  7. brahma-bheda,
  8. aṅga-bheda,
  9. mantra-jāta,
  10. kīla.

Daher existieren wiederum 3 Formen:

  1. subrahmaṇya-śwa,
  2. sadā-śiva
  3. maheśa.

Shiva wird Niṣkala genannt, wenn alle seine Kalās, das sind Teile oder Organe oder Funktionen, in einer Einheit in Ihm konzentriert sind.
