Die Siddhanta - Sastras werden nach Meykandar, Paranjothi Munivar’s Guru Satyangana Dharsinigal, als 'Meykanda Sattiram' (Skt. Sastra) bezeichnet

Die 14 Meykanda - Sastras wurden zwischen dem 13ten und 14ten Jahrhundert verfasst.

Meykandar verfasste auch das Sivagnana Bodha als Jnanapada des Siddhanta.
